A vibrant, alluring blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle; this un-fined white is hand harvested and fermented naturally with wild yeasts. Vinified in conrete vats, the flavor profile is entirely that of the Comme's fresh, pure bio-dynamically grown fruit.

The modern history of Champs des Treilles begins in 1998, when Corine and Jean-Michel Comme (who also remained at his old position of Director of Operations at Ch. Pontet-Canet) took over the family estate. They added some property to the original 5 hectare plot of old-vine Merlot, and planted more of the classic Bordeaux varieties. 2003 saw the addition of Muscadelle, planted to add aromatic complexity to their white.

Importantly, also in 2003, the Commes began to use biodynamic agriculture, which they feel has turned the vineyards around completely, and all for the better. As they say, now "each herb and insect has a reason for their presence in the natural environment."

The undisputed king of France's wine regions, Bordeaux sits amidst and astride the rivers Dordogne and Garonne. Accounting for some 800 million bottles produced each year, Bordeaux has built its reputation on quality, with some of the world's most sought-after wines being crafted along the river banks. Bordeaux also creates a large amount of table wine, mostly sourced from the lesser of Bordeaux's 57 appellations. Bordeaux boasts over 10,000 winemakers. Known mostly for the red blends, Bordeaux also enjoys notoriety for its excellent sweet white wines, as well as several high-quality dry whites created mostly in the central regions between the two rivers.
