"A rare bottling of red Cheverny, the “Pressoir” bottling is made up of Pinot Noir (80%) and Gamay (20%) and is partially aged in wood.
Immediately accessible and juicy, delicious fruit. While the unique Cour-Cheverny and the vibrant Cheverny are what the property has historically
been known for, the Cheverny rouge is a sleeper hit. Little known outside of the region, it is the Loire’s version of a Burgundian Passetoutgrain
but at lower prices and is about as quaffable as it gets!

Domaine des Huards goal is to create wines that are natural and that generate a maximum amount of enjoyment. Fruity aromas accompanied by an exquisite structure, lasting taste in mouth and a delightful mineral taste are characteristics of our wines. They are highly dedicated in caring for the vines as well as the biological equilibrium of the soils "we do not use any chemical products" In the winery, the fermentation process is done using natural yeasts; a part from the low dose of sulfites; no other oenological product is used throughout the winemaking procedure. The Domaine looks to find the expression closest to the vintages’ particularities as well as those belonging to the terroir. They use traditional methods along with modern equipment to work the vine while maintaining the respect of our environment and the integrity of their wines.

Cheverny is a French wine region in the Loire Valley that makes dry white wines, light red wines and rose wines. The area received VDP status in 1973, and then AOC on 26 March 1993 when new regulatory laws were passed. The wine region is spread over 532 hectares, within 24 communes of the Loir-et-Cher department.
