Huck am Bach, is named after the region Huck am Bach Hof, where the wine is produced at 250 meters above sea level located in St. Magdalena. This carefully selected red blend is a mixture of Schiava (or Trollinger) and Lagrein. Both traditional light red wine producing grape varietals of the Bolzano region situated in Northern Italy.
The Cantina Produttori Bolzano Estate represents the joint efforts of two of Alto Adige’s most historic wineries—Santa Magdalena, established 1930, and Cantina Gries, established in 1908. The vineyard elevations range from 200 to 700 meters above sea level. Huck am Bach Hof, where is wine is produced in St. Magdalena is 250 meters above sea level. This is an exciting estate that makes some of the most exciting Lagrein from the area, and some of the most exceptional reds in Italy.
