Winemaker Phillipe Cambie said, "According to poets, Jupiter is the father, the king of all gods and humans. He rules on mount Olympus and his power is such that he can shake the entire universe by a simple nod of the head. For me, Grenache is the king of all grapes and the natural leader of all Rhone varietals. "
This blend features 70% Grenache, 20% Carignan and 10% Mourvedre.
Aged in old barrels. Production 500 cases.

Philippe Cambie is the Rhone’s Super-Star winemaker who has crafted some of the Rhone’s most compelling wines over the past two decades. A firm believer in the quality and use of Grenache, Cambie is credited by many as the man that turned the Southern Rhone around. Continually noted by most as the premier consultant and enologist in the Southern Rhone, Cambie’s reach through-out the region is massive; leaving no property or project too large or small without his services.

Costieres de Nimes is an Appellation d'Origine Controlee (AOC) for wines that are produced in an area between the ancient city of Nîmes and the western Rhone delta, in the French department of the Gard. Formerly part of the Languedoc region of France, as the wines more resemble those of the Rhone valley in character than of the Languedoc, it is now part of the Rhone wine area and administered by the Rhone Wine committee which has its headquarters in Avignon.
