The label for these tasty bottlings is pure kiwi. Box O’ Birds is a New Zealand colloquialism that is spoken in answer to the daily question “How are you?” Its meaning signifies that the speaker is cheerful, happy, and in good health. This is a classic, racy Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough; bright grapefruit and zest on the nose, and lively acidity on the palate. Practically perfect and easy to enjoy with many cuisines.

Surprising to many, the now famous wine region of Marlborough on the South Island of New Zealand didn't have a commercial vineyard until 1973. Now, Marlborough produces some of the best Sauvignon Blanc's and Pinot Noir's in the world, and is by far the most prestigious wine growing districts in the country. With almost 40% of the entire country's vineyards planted, the distinctive cool climates give the winemakers the capability of making wines with real elegance.
