Grown in rich clay soil, fermented in oak vats and aged in French Barriques. On the palette, Duemani approaches with important progression and elegant taste in substantial equilibrium. Excellent correspondence between taste and smell, with delicious and persistent tannins.

It is a life-long passion for wine has taken Duemani on a journey to a very special destination. The site of Duemani is in essence the discovery of a new and promising winegrowing region that offers the elements to make significant and exciting wines. The structure of the soil is remarkable for its predominance of clay and stone – the resulting low soil fertility leading to greater character and complexity in the vine’s fruit. After an examination of the property and its unique position in the contour of a west-facing amphitheatre there emerged the sites of their three distinct vineyards on one amazing location. From the very beginning Duemani has followed the principles of biodynamic farming and since the 2004 harvest the estate’s production of grapes proudly carries the certification of organic and Demeter certified biodynamic. Oh yeah the wines here are made by the famed Luca D’Attoma!

Tuscany is the quintessential Italian wine region, a place where the Renaissance was born and the Church has reigned. Wine has found a place as one of the most humble of comforts with the people of Tuscany, on the table at every meal or served with a piece of bread as the meal itself. Though all made from the most famous of Tuscan grapes, Sangiovese, Tuscany is the birthplace of some of the most recognizable Italian wines: Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino. Italy's also a land of district microclimates, so while traditional red's feature the sangiovese grape, they can showcase different lands of structure and flavor characteristics.
