A combination of two vineyards located in Sonoma and Napa Counties and three grape varietals make this Zinfandel one worth tasting. A modern blend of 85% Zinfandel, 10% Petit Sirah and 5% Petite Verdot from Sonoma County & Napa County vineyards provide layers of deep aromas, flavors, and richness.

Five Vintners is so aptly named because of the five generations of family owned and operated winewaking in the Napa Valley in California. Their Zinfandel is a blend of rich fruit from the Hietz Vineyards in Napa Valley and from Mauritson Vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County.

Mid-Northern Sonoma's proximity to the coast, as well as the dense fogs that creep down hillsides, is the key to the region's favorable viticultural tendencies. Long a source for excellent Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the area in and surrounding the Russian River Valley benefit with long, ideal growing seasons, allowing the perfect balance in ripening the fruit.
