This is one of the most interesting white wine's we've tasted recently, made from 60 year-old White Grenache and Macabeo bush-trained vines planted on poor, rocky soils. Yields are extremely low and the wine delivers wonderful aromatics, lively citrus flavors, and captivating complexity on the finish. Great with grilled chicken and pork or just to contemplate on its own.

These decades old, bush-trained vines planted in an unusual vineyard soil called "panal", a type of fossilized sand dune, create a wine that is rich and pronounced.

The production team at Edetaria has one goal in mind: to maximize the expression of their unique terroir in all of their wines. They consistently deliver on this goal, thanks largely to an unusual vineyard soil called "panal", which is a type of fossilized sand dune. The vines are decades old, bush-trained, and very small thanks to the depleting nature of this soil and the dry climate of the Terra Alta region. In such conditions the grapes produced by these vines are also small, with amazingly complex and concentrated aromas and flavors that are preserved in bottle through respectful winemaking.
