A deep and rich Chateauneuf du Pape from the estate of Marie and Francois Giraud consists of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre. The name "Tradition" symbolizes their affection for Chateauneuf du Pape and their wine making family.
Domaine Giraud began in 1974 when Pierre and Mirielle Giraud took on 4 hectares of vines. The family began to estate bottle in 1998, when Marie and Francois Giraud took over the vineyard with the aid of Philippe Cambie. They now own 47 acres of land including parts of the the vineyard with vines over 100 years old growing in rich sandy soil.
