A playful blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, this pale rose is typical of Provence with its expressive aromatics, light bodied nature and fresh clean finish. Pairs well with grilled white meats, anything with a bit of a spice to it, sushi or simply as a aperitif.
Founded in 1978 by Michel Fabre, the Domaine Sainte Lucie is situated on the foot of Mont Ste. Victorie. This stunning part of Provence has been the backdrop and inspiration for artists such as Cezanne and Picasso, and is simply a world class location to craft the red wines and rose that Provence is famous for. In 2005, Michel turned over the vineyards and winemaking to his children, and the younger generation has continued the legacy established by Fabre, with a youthful and playful twist.
Provence is a region famous for its beautiful landscapes, famous artistic residents, outstanding cuisine and not to be missed wines. The top wine choice for the local cuisine is usually rose, although the fuller bodied reds from Bandol and Aix-en-Provence are getting increased recognition from the recent southern Rhone wine explosion. Almost all the wines from Provence are lively blends of several grapes, each with original personalities in other places such as Bordeaux, the Rhone or even Italy. Much of the AOC borders the Mediterranean Sea, and with the sun baking the rocky soil almost year round, grape vines and olive trees thrive.

Great, fruity (peach? nectarine?--I'm not good at this), lush aroma. Nice, crisp wine for summer drinking. Not sweet.
