We’ll come to your home, your office or even a local BYOB restaurant. CoolVines will present wine in your home or other location using our unique, thematic approach, resulting in a highly experiential learning process. Your guests will not only enjoy an evening of delicious wine sampling and instruction, but will leave with a better understanding of major wine styles and more importantly, an understanding of their preferences. Format can be tailored to your specifications. Make your next party the envy of all your friends as you learn more about wine in a light-hearted atmosphere from one of our trained sommeliers. Service includes: customized selection, and delivery of wines, two hours of on-site presentation service from one of our trained instructors, and an information kit for each participant. We can also help you choose a venue for your event.

Pricing: Contact us for information regarding our all-inclusive pricing, including volume discounts. Note that we offer three tiers of wine quality, with Classé being our basic level. The Premier and Grand tiers offer an opportunity to taste outstanding examples of hand-crafted wines. In each case, wines will be selected that exemplify the characteristics of the theme. “Explore Your Personal Wine Palate” - Do you prefer certain types of wine but have difficulty explaining why? This class will present a simple method for understanding and communicating your personal preferences and tastes in wine. We will sample a broad range of wines of many styles from all over the world and show you how you can identify your favorites. Whether buying wine in a store or ordering from a restaurant wine list, this skill will be immensely valuable.

“Modern vs. Traditional Wine-making Styles” - Taste and learn the differences between the traditional, or “Old World” style of wine-making and the modern techniques of the “New World”. Which do you prefer and why? CoolVines will take you on a tasting tour from the traditional approach to the modern methods so that you will know how to pick the appropriate style for any occasion. Other themes can be suggested based on your event and interests. We can help you host a wonderful wine dinner in your home or at a local BYOB restaurant. We will work with you and the chef/caterer to select a flight of wines to perfectly pair with your meal. We’ll deliver the wine to a location of your choice (within CoolVines standard delivery zip codes) and present the wines to your guests if requested. We will also provide an information sheet about the wines presented.

We provide 3 levels of service:
Cost: retail cost of wine, including volume discounts, plus the following:

A deposit of $50 + 10% of estimated cost of wine is required to hold a date and initiate the planning. The deposit is refundable with two weeks’ notice of cancellation.

* Regulations allow us to pour wine only in private settings. For events held at BYOB restaurants or catering halls, resident staff will pour for guests with CoolVines present to describe each wine.
