Position: Assistant Manager
Location: Westfield, NJ store
Reports to: General Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support store General Manager in retail operations
- Open/close store as scheduled
- Coordinate staffing requirements
- Floor sales and customer service
- Coordinate maintenance and cleaning
- Product management
- Receiving inventory, and checking it against CoolVines' purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts in RMS
- Presentation of inventory on the sales floor, assuring products are properly placed and displayed
- Staff training - support General Manager in training of staff
- Rules and procedures, per employee handbook
- Product knowledge and customer assistance
- Product Selection - participate in sourcing process for wine and other products
- Business Development
- Cultivate relationships with local restaurateurs, club organizers, catering managers.
- Participate in in-store and local events
Skills and Experience required:
- A passion for our products and service a must; expert knowledge of wine not required.
- Experience in retail sales and operations a plus though not essential
- Must be comfortable with computer systems and basic accounting and financial processes
- Ability to direct and manage a diverse workforce, motivating by example.
Position: Sales Associate
Location: Westfield, NJ store
Reports to: General Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in locating product to suit their requirements
- Attending cash register as required
- Receiving product and stocking shelves
- Outside event support
Skills and Experience required:
- Expert knowledge of wine not required, but a passion for our products and service a must.
- Experience in retail sales and operations a plus though not essential
