Porters

Porters

Free Tasting Fri. 5-7 Princeton

Black or chocolate malt gives the porter its dark brown color. Porters are often well hopped and somewhat heavily malted. This is a medium-bodied beer and may show some sweetness usually from the light caramel to light molasses range. Hoppiness can range from bitter to mild. Porters, in relation to stouts of the same region, are typically more mild and less aggressively hopped.

Natural Cider

Natural_cider

Free Tasting Sat. 5-7 Jersey City

Cider is one of the first fermented beverages produced by settlers in early American history.
Throughout the country many small farms produced cider with distinct terroir driven flavors. Sometime after prohibition, these farms were traded in for sterile production facilities and stainless steel fermenters. While a few producers in Normandy and Basque remained true to their historical methods of cider production, almost all natural cider died out in North America. Now there is a new crop of young cider producers, who embrace the old-world method of fermenting with the natural yeast in the air and on the skins of the fruit. Join us this Saturday and taste the wide array of natural cider that we have to offer!
